Dave Netti Jr. is an artisan, a third generation carpenter / builder who enjoys devoting his creative vision to one project at a time. He began crafting at age 13 helping under his grandfather’s tutelage, creating custom cabinetry and furniture in Andover Massachusetts. His family relocated to a community in North Eastern Ohio with a large concentration of Amish tradesmen. By the time he graduated high school at age 16 he had forged relationships with the local Amish woodworkers that would eventually teach him the fundamental elements and principles of good quality craftsmanship. Working with the local tradesmen he was framing homes by the age of 19 and at 20 he began learning the trim trade with the Amish trim carpenters. By the time he was 23 he had built and sold his first custom home. Over next 30 years Dave honed his skills in the housing industry, framing and trimming the many homes he built. From small unique custom homes to large estate homes Dave’s homes have became known for their quality and attention to detail.

Building a home for Dave was and is a source of great pride. In the late 90’s one of Dave’s customers requested him to build an authentic log cabin for a retreat. That started a passion inside of Dave for the authentic early American Style of living. It completed the spirit of freedom and adventure inside of him that he grew up with in the New England States. Dave has gone on to build log and timber frame homes, additions, pool houses, thru-out Ohio, Tennessee, Michigan, and West Virginia.

One of Dave’s log homes became the center piece, the anchor for the Home and Flower shows in Northeastern Ohio. TV personalities such as the remolding team of Dean and Robin and the Natural Gardner Jerry Baker came and shot small episodes out the model set up in the Stark County Home and Flower Show. Channel 29 in Youngstown Ohio also shot an episode of Morning Exchange out of the model at the Youngstown Home and Flower Show.

As the housing market started to change in early 2008 Dave began getting more and more request for specialty projects. His expertise in the trades gave a unique advantage not only was he designing the projects and the changes but he was preforming most of the work on the projects directly at the clients place of business or home. From revamping old style kitchens into today’s modern bestow styles, installing granite, cambria, adding focal points to fireplaces, redoing staircases, and  highly specialty timber frame projects, over pools and hot tubs, timber frame elements and entry ways, to full wet bars. Dave’s skill and expertise in these areas can be seen in the many photos provided in this web site. Today Dave custom builds most of his project out of his 3700 square foot shop located in Walker Mi.

While producing unique functional works of art, Dave also enjoys building relationships with his clients. Being onsite and learning the interest of those he serves allows him to take aesthetic desires of the clients into a constructible masterpiece. This process is possible through the thousands of projects he’s completed, and affirmed by his accreditations.

Dave resides in Walker Michigan, and enjoys the quiet peaceful tranquility of fishing, or visiting the small forgotten centennial towns, on his motorcycle. He enjoys History and the study of Early American Architecture but most of all he enjoys the time gets to spend with his wife and their four grown children.
